The major issues that affect New Yorkers—be it safe streets, climate change, or affordable housing—aren’t just political; they’re ones in which design should be top of mind. 

Whether through innovative solutions or improving trusted techniques, designers and architects have a unique opportunity to consider—and even create—a more fair, equitable, and just city. We’d do well to take it.
